Had a little trip to London yesterday - visiting family and a little shopping at Westfield in Shepherds Bush - we drove home along the embankment and took a few photographs as we drove along at dusk.
Before we got to the embankment we noticed this swan - who appeared to be a little lost.
Good photos! The swan is probably still a little hung over from New Year's Eve. What an amazing and unexpected sight!
ReplyDeleteNice photos. It seems swans can mistake wet tarmac for water They land on the Red Cow interchange near my home every few weeks instead of the canal. At least he didn't hurt himself.
ReplyDeleteThe Cookie Jar - I didn't know that, but now that you say it, the tarmac was quite dark and did indeed look wet.
